About Us

The Crime Stoppers program in St Thomas began in January 1988 and is a non-profit charitable organization operating independent, but in conjunction with the local police services. In the years since inception the St Thomas program has grown to be one of the most successful Crime Stoppers programs in the region. In June of 2022 the St Thomas program incorporated the entire county of Elgin into our operating territory and rebranded as St Thomas-Elgin Crime Stoppers. The program is a way for members of the pubic to assist in solving and preventing crime by providing anonymous tips either by phone or secured website link and receive a cash reward if they are successful. You will always remain anonymous and will not be asked to testify in court.
