About Us
Kettle Creek Players is a non-profit community theatre group, established in 2023.
They are a theatre troupe that performs Pantos every December.
A British Pantomime is a silly take on a fairytale or fable in which the audience participates by booing the bad guys and cheering the good guys. The costumes are ridiculous and bright and the props are often silly and oversized. Pantos are comedies that are appropriate for all ages.Rep/Contact Info
View Personal BioJessica FediwMy name is Jessica Fediw. I founded Kettle Creek players in 2023 when there was an overwhelming demand to produce British Pantomimes over the Christmas season.
A “Panto” is traditionally a UK custom. It is a hilarious twist on a fairy tale or fable with audience involvement, that was brought to St.Thomas 12 years ago by Lesley Chapman.
When the pandemic had a hold of the world, theatre came to a stand still and with it, our beloved Pantos. Our director Lesley, moved provinces so I took a chance, started KCP and here we are in our second year of bringing family fun to the city of St.Thomas and Elgin County.
KCP started out with only pantos in mind but our troupe has been approached by many different organisations to do “vignettes”, which are short performances that are specific to a group or business.
We are happy to host events and collaborate to bring theatre fun into every day lives.Jessica FediwFounder- Phone: (519) 630-4727
