KIB was founded in 1988 by our President, Elgin Sleightholm. After gaining a wealth of knowledge working in various positions within the industry, Elgin wanted to step out on his own and KIB was born! In 2016, Kenny Insurance Brokers became a multi generational company when Elgin’s son, Scott, a broker in the Ottawa area for many years, made the move back to St.Thomas to take on the role as Vice President. Scott modernized KIB from the classic brokerage his dad had created to adapt to an ever changing industry. Although not all staff bear the same last name, we are truly a family. Kenny Insurance Brokers is devoted to our customers, determined to be the premier broker of choice and committed to offering exceptional service at all times.
